My Encouragement
“Blotting out the handwriting of
ordinances that was against us, which was contrary to us, and took it out of
the way, nailing it to His cross” (Colossians 2:14).
When Jesus died on the cross of
Calvary, He took all the “handwriting of
ordinances” that were contrary to us
out of the way and nailed them to His cross.
In other words, all the curses,
all the judgment, all the punishment that were due to us as a result of our sin
nature, he took them out of the way and settled their whole account once and
for all. This is why if you believe
in Jesus Christ, you are made free from everything from which the Law of Moses
could not free us. He bought for us
complete redemption and total liberty through His death on the cross. The Bible says, “If the Son therefore shall make you free, you shall be free indeed”
(John 8:36).
What Jesus did on the cross of
Calvary was very real. He settled all
the account that was against us. He paid
the bill in full and brought us complete liberty. You can be free indeed. Glory be to God.
Now, have you confessed Jesus
Christ as you Savior and Lord? Do you
understand what He did for you at Calvary?
Do you know that no one can lay anything against you anymore? You can rejoice in the liberty wherewith has made you free (Galatians 5:1) all the
days of your life. You have been truly
redeemed by the blood of Jesus Christ, the Precious Lamb of God.
“For by one offering he hath
perfected forever them that are sanctified” (Hebrews 10:14).
My PrayerFather in Jesus’ Name we give you thanks for what Jesus did for us on the Cross of Calvary and by it we claim our complete liberty that was purchased for us on that Cross – freedom from sin, Satan, sickness, poverty and every curse. Father we ask that you anoint us with the Power of the Holy Ghost so that we may this same liberty to others in the name of Jesus Christ. Lord I pray for that person (YOU CAN NAME SOMEONE SPECIFIC YOU KNOW) who is under the influence of Satan’s darkness and demonic influence. I pray that the knowledge of his or her freedom be made available them and that they come to the realization of what Christ did for them on Calvary. God we give you thanks for hearing and answering our prayers. We send our prayer to you in the matchless and mighty name of Jesus Christ of Nazareth, and everyone said… (AMEN).
Your Confession For Today
Christ has redeemed me from the
sin, Satan, sickness, poverty and every curse.
I am free indeed.(IF THIS BLESSED YOU, SHARE IT WITH YOUR FRIENDS)
